Azure and Windows System Administrator

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled System Administrator, the full-time remote Azure and Windows System Administrator will manage and optimize cloud-based and on-premises systems, ensuring high availability and security while deploying and monitoring IaaS/PaaS workloads in Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and monitor IaaS/PaaS workloads in Microsoft Azure
• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and patching
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and monitoring solutions for cloud and on-premises systems

Required qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, with significant expertise in Windows Server and Azure cloud
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Azure cloud platform
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform, ARM)
• Knowledge of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate are a plus
