Azure Architect

Job Summary

To support cloud infrastructure needs, the part-time Azure Architect will implement and operate Azure infrastructure using Bicep, ensure security and scalability, and provide tier-3/4 support for critical services in a remote contract-to-hire position.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage Azure infrastructure while ensuring security, scalability, and high availability
• Drive automation of monitoring and remediation workflows, and participate in incident response and root-cause analysis
• Produce technical assessments and documentation while partnering with cross-functional teams to align delivery models

Required qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep and/or Terraform)
• Experience designing and implementing secure Azure platform and application landing zones
• Proficiency in automating operational and security tasks for cloud applications
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tooling
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure and related services, focusing on security best practices
