Azure Cloud Database Administrator

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Azure Cloud Database Administrator will manage the migration of on-prem databases to Azure Cloud, automate infrastructure setup, and implement security best practices for Azure databases.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate on-prem databases to Azure Cloud and configure Azure database services
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Ansible
• Perform regular security assessments and enforce security best practices for Azure databases

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience setting up and configuring Microsoft Azure Services
• 5+ years of experience in migrating on-prem databases to Azure Cloud
• Proven experience as a database administrator, specifically with Azure cloud databases
• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
