Azure Cloud Database Administrator

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Azure Cloud Database Administrator will develop automation scripts, implement security best practices, and provision Azure database services while ensuring optimal performance and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Ansible
• Implement and enforce security best practices for Azure databases
• Provision and configure Azure database services, including SQL Database and PostgreSQL

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with CI/CD automation using Ansible, GitHub Actions, and Terraform
• 5+ years of experience in migrating on-prem databases to Azure Cloud
• 7+ years of experience setting up and configuring Microsoft Azure Services
• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Cloud Security
• 7+ years of experience with Database High Availability and performance tuning
