Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer for a full-time remote position to design, deploy, and manage large-scale, secure cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure, focusing on architecture, infrastructure-as-code, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Azure cloud architectures with a focus on scalability, security, and cost optimization
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, ensuring rigorous version control and peer review
• Implement secure identity and access management controls to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of cloud engineering experience, with at least three years focused on Microsoft Azure in production environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure core services and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Bicep
• Production-level experience designing and operating Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters
• Solid scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python for automation tasks
