Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and operate secure cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure in a full-time remote role, responsible for managing the cloud engineering lifecycle, including architecture, automation, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Azure cloud architectures with a focus on scalability, security, and cost management
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates, ensuring rigorous version control
• Architect and operate Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, integrating with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of cloud engineering experience, with at least three years focused on Microsoft Azure
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure core services and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Production-level experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Proficient scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python for automation tasks
