Azure Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing cloud infrastructure team, the full-time contract-to-hire Azure Cloud Engineer will design, deploy, automate, and secure application infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and provision Azure infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and operational readiness
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems using Azure tools while supporting infrastructure troubleshooting and disaster recovery
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps
Required qualifications
- Recent hands-on experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar cloud infrastructure role
- Strong production experience with Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, and Azure SQL
- Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Experience with Azure monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights
- Familiarity with Azure cloud security practices and identity management
