Azure Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing cloud infrastructure, the full-time contract-to-hire Azure Cloud Engineer will design, deploy, automate, and secure application infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform while collaborating with development, architecture, security, and operations teams remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and provision Azure infrastructure, including compute, networking, and storage services, while ensuring security and operational readiness
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics
- Support infrastructure troubleshooting, disaster recovery, and performance optimization across cloud environments
Required qualifications
- Recent hands-on experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Operations Engineer, or similar role
- Strong production experience with Microsoft Azure, including designing and supporting infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Experience implementing Azure cloud security measures and managing identity and access
- Ability to create infrastructure documentation and operational procedures
