Azure Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Azure tools to ingest, transform, and load data
• Utilize Azure Databricks for big data processing tasks and optimize PySpark/Scala jobs
• Build and maintain data warehouses/lakehouses and implement data quality and security measures

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or BI development with a focus on Azure cloud data platform
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake Storage
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL
• Proven ability to design and implement ETL/ELT workflows and understanding of data modeling concepts
• Experience building data warehouses or data marts on Azure
