Azure Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support cloud transformation initiatives, the remote Azure Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure tools such as Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse, while ensuring a secure and efficient cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure tools
• Utilize Azure Databricks to optimize data processing jobs and manage workspaces and clusters
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code for resource management and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering with Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in Azure data services including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and managing deployment pipelines
• Strong programming skills in Python/Scala and SQL
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Bicep or Terraform
