Azure Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing data management practice, the remote Azure Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions on Azure and Snowflake platforms while building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines and collaborating with business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data engineering solutions on Azure and Snowflake platforms
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake
• Implement data quality frameworks and monitoring processes to ensure accurate and trusted data

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Azure and Snowflake
• Proven expertise in building scalable data pipelines and data warehouses leveraging Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake
• Strong background in data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and cloud migration
• Experience with Python, SQL, and Spark for data transformation and orchestration
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps and Git
