Azure Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a large-scale Mainframe to Azure Cloud PaaS migration program, the remote Azure Data Engineer will design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions while ensuring data quality and performance, leveraging Azure data services and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Azure-based data solutions supporting enterprise modernization initiatives
- Develop and execute data migration strategies from Mainframe platforms to Azure Cloud
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards throughout the migration process
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on Azure Cloud experience
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake
- Experience developing ETL/ELT data pipelines
