Azure DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a Big 4 Consulting firm, the contract Azure DevOps Engineer will focus on container orchestration, cloud infrastructure automation, and the seamless deployment and management of microservices architectures while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and oversee container lifecycle management
- Utilize cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
- Optimize CI/CD processes with Microsoft DevOps and write automation scripts to enhance system workflows
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and container registries like Artifactory
- Strong knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like DataDog and Azure Application Insights
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and troubleshooting containerized applications
- Supplemental development experience in C#, .NET, or JavaScript (JS) is highly beneficial
