Azure Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Azure Engineer will provide operational support, optimization, automation, and modernization of customer Azure environments while serving as a trusted technical advisor and escalation resource.
Key responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 support and engineering expertise for Azure-based environments, troubleshooting complex infrastructure and performance issues
- Deploy, configure, and optimize Azure resources, managing subscriptions, resource groups, and governance controls
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools, while identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimization
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of Azure engineering, cloud operations, or managed services experience
- 3+ years supporting production Azure environments
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services, networking, and identity management
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar Azure-focused credentials
