Azure GIS Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Azure GIS Cloud Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with deploying and managing GIS solutions in Microsoft Azure, including provisioning and configuring Virtual Machines, storage, and networking components
- Support the integration of Azure cloud services with on-premises systems in a hybrid environment
- Help monitor and maintain Azure-hosted GIS systems using Azure Monitor, resource health tools, and diagnostics
Required Qualifications:
- Foundational understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and monitoring tools
- Experience with ARM templates and/or Bicep for infrastructure automation
- Familiarity with GIS platforms, such as Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, especially in cloud or hybrid deployments
- Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell or Azure CLI
- Knowledge of network and computer system security protocols, including SAML 2.0 and OAuth 2.0
