Azure Landing Zone Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of Azure Landing Zones, the contract Azure Landing Zone Architect will work remotely to develop scalable Terraform modules, establish governance frameworks, and build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of Azure Landing Zones using Azure Landing Zone Accelerator (ALZ) and Terraform
• Architect and implement hub-and-spoke Azure network topologies with centralized connectivity and secure workload isolation
• Partner with enterprise architects to convert architectural designs into production-ready Azure Landing Zone deployments

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and deploying Azure Landing Zones using Azure Landing Zone Accelerator (ALZ)
• Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform, including module development and state management
• Experience designing enterprise Azure governance frameworks and knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
• Strong Azure networking experience, including hub-and-spoke architecture and secure egress architecture
• Experience integrating Terraform deployments into Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
