Azure Landing Zone Lead

Job Summary

Hands-on and experienced, the remote Azure Landing Zone Lead will design, provision, and iterate on Azure Landing Zones using the Azure Landing Zone Accelerator with Terraform, focusing on custom management group hierarchies and policy-as-code deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy Azure Landing Zones with Terraform, ensuring effective management group hierarchies and subscription vending
• Design hub-and-spoke network topologies for centralized connectivity and workload isolation
• Collaborate with client architecture teams to translate governance decisions into deployable Terraform-based landing zones

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure Landing Zone Accelerator and Terraform
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and multi-tier management group structures
• Strong Azure operational and administration experience in a multi-subscription environment
• Experience with Azure Entra ID and IAM conditional access
• Proficiency in Terraform state management and CI/CD pipeline integration
