Azure Network Engineer
Job Summary
To modernize and ensure network security within a Microsoft Azure environment, the remote Azure Network Engineer will engage in a 6-month contract focused on assessing network architecture, developing remediation plans, and implementing networking solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Assess Azure network architecture and identify security and compliance gaps
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot various networking components including VPN connectivity and Azure Front Door
- Automate network provisioning and configuration using infrastructure as code with Bicep and Terraform
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- At least 10 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure networking solutions
- Expertise in network security, VPN technologies, and Azure load-balancing services
- Strong infrastructure-as-code experience, including Bicep and Terraform
