Azure Network Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a 6-month contract basis, an Azure Network Engineer will modernize and secure network architecture in an enterprise Microsoft Azure environment, focusing on network segmentation, identity-based access, and compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess Azure network architecture to identify security and compliance gaps and develop remediation plans
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot networking solutions including VPN connectivity, firewalls, and Azure load-balancing services
- Automate network provisioning and configuration using infrastructure as code tools like Bicep and Terraform
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- At least 10 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with networking solutions in Microsoft Azure
- Expertise in network security, hybrid connectivity, and Azure monitoring tools
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code, specifically using Bicep and Terraform
