Azure Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Azure Platform Engineer for a remote contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform landing zone remediation and environment hardening in Azure
• Support multi-wave migration of approximately 450 virtual machines to Azure
• Address post-migration stabilization issues and ensure handoff readiness to operations

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Azure platform and services
• Knowledge of Palo Alto Next Generation firewall design and implementation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Well-Architected Framework for Azure
• Ability to coordinate and validate migration readiness and execution
• Experience with Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and monitoring tools
