Azure Platform Engineer IV

Job Summary

To support the development and deployment of applications, the full-time remote Azure Platform Engineer IV will design, build, and maintain scalable Windows/Azure platform solutions while collaborating with software developers and operations teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes and ensure platform scalability and reliability
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior platform engineers while implementing best practices for cloud security and compliance

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Seven or more years of relevant IT experience, specializing in Windows Platform and Operating System Technologies
• Expertise in designing and deploying cloud infrastructure and managing Azure resources using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Proficiency in implementing cloud security best practices and managing Active Directory environments
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
