Azure Solutions Architect

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the full-time Azure Solutions Architect will assist in the design and implementation of Azure database solutions for the MinnesotaWorks.net Replacement project, focusing on database management, performance optimization, and system integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an Azure database solution to replace the existing MinnesotaWorks.net system's database
• Perform data migration from the legacy MinnesotaWorks.net system to the new Azure solution
• Develop database management processes and conduct performance testing to ensure optimization, scalability, and security

Required qualifications

• 3 years of experience working on MS Azure solutions with a focus on database management
• Experience in designing and implementing database solutions on the Azure platform
• Knowledge of database design, particularly in replacing existing systems
• Experience with data migration and integrating with legacy systems
