Azure SysOps Architect

Job Summary

To lead the design, implementation, and operation of secure, scalable Azure infrastructure, the contract-to-hire Azure SysOps Architect will work remotely within the Central Time Zone, focusing on architecting and managing Azure environments using Infrastructure as Code while ensuring security and high availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and operate Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep)
• Design secure Azure platform and application landing zones, including network architecture
• Drive automation of monitoring, alerting, remediation, and security hardening across platforms

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading and architecting infrastructure work
• Strong hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience (Bicep and/or Terraform)
• Experience designing and implementing secure Azure platform and application landing zones
• Proficiency automating Day 2 operational and security tasks for cloud applications
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tooling
