Azure SysOps Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on ensuring high availability and operational excellence, the full-time Azure SysOps Engineer will manage customer environment implementations, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery while working remotely from the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver customer environment implementation and software configuration within 24 hours lead time
• Monitor customer environments using Azure tools to proactively detect and resolve availability issues
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures

Required qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 3-5 years of cloud operations and infrastructure engineering experience
• Certifications: AZ-104 Azure Administrator or equivalent Azure administration competency
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Proficiency in automating processes using PowerShell, Azure PowerShell Modules, or Terraform
