Job Summary
Working remotely as a full-time Azure VDI Engineer (US Federal), the candidate will manage the operation, maintenance, and security monitoring of an IL5 compliant Azure VDI environment, focusing on Identity and Access Management and ensuring compliance and operational health.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage Microsoft Entra ID Governance features and user access lifecycle
- Perform monthly patching and security updates for Windows 365 custom golden images and provide Tier 2/3 technical support for VDI-related issues
- Serve as a key member of the incident response team, monitoring alerts and maintaining continuous STIG compliance for all VDI endpoints
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in high security supervised environments (DoD IL4/IL5, FedRAMP High, GCC High)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; an active TS/SCI w/CI Poly is preferred
- Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access and Identity Governance
- Experience with cloud-native security tools such as Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Strong experience managing Windows endpoints via Microsoft Intune
