Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting and optimizing a large-scale enterprise desktop environment, the part-time Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer will manage Azure Virtual Desktop and Nerdio Manager for Enterprise, troubleshoot issues, and maintain desktop images while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop and Nerdio Manager for Enterprise, ensuring platform health and automation
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to session host provisioning, connectivity, and performance
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation for desktop management processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline preferred
- Equivalent combination of relevant technical education, certifications, and significant hands-on enterprise engineering experience may be considered
- Relevant Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop or Azure certification is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management processes
- Familiarity with automation tools and processes related to desktop lifecycle management
