Job Summary
Working remotely on a freelance basis, the B2B Marketing Content Writer will manage editorial strategy and copywriting for newsletters, email programs, and paid media, focusing on creating engaging content that builds a thought leadership platform for business and technology leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Own the editorial strategy, planning, and execution of subscriber email and LinkedIn newsletter programs, including writing and editing copy
- Create promotional copy for digital ads and other media, collaborating with the paid media team to maintain a steady flow of content
- Contribute short-form editorial pieces that clarify complex topics for a business audience while aligning with the broader content calendar
Required qualifications
- 10-12 years of experience in content, editorial, and/or lifecycle/email marketing, preferably in a B2B tech or media organization
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt voice and style for diverse audiences
- Proven experience managing email and newsletter programs, treating them as editorial products
- Strong operational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholder coordination
- Comfortable using data to inform content strategy, with familiarity in SEO fundamentals and digital analytics
