Back End Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote freelance Back End Developer specializing in AI infrastructure, the position involves designing, building, and optimizing server-side systems and APIs that support cutting-edge AI products, with a commitment of 10-40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end services, APIs, and data pipelines
• Build scalable and high-performance server-side architecture to support AI training and inference workloads
• Collaborate asynchronously with distributed teams of engineers, researchers, and product leads

Required qualifications

• Proficient in one or more back-end languages such as Python, Go, Java, Node.js, or Rust
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Comfortable working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
