Back End Developer

Job Summary

To support innovative AI infrastructure projects, the freelance Back End Developer will design, build, and optimize server-side systems and APIs while working remotely and flexibly for 10-40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust back end services, APIs, and data pipelines
• Build scalable server-side architecture to support AI training and inference workloads
• Collaborate asynchronously with distributed teams and troubleshoot production issues

Required qualifications

• Proficient in back end languages such as Python, Go, Java, Node.js, or Rust
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
• Experienced with relational and/or NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB
• Comfortable working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiar with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
