Back End Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract-to-hire basis, the Back End Developer will design and implement RESTful APIs, manage server-side development using Python and SQL, and ensure system performance and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and server-side applications using Python and FastAPI
• Manage databases, including relational and non-relational systems, and utilize ORM frameworks
• Conduct unit, regression, and integration testing while employing CI/CD practices for deployment

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and FastAPI
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation, as well as Pub/Sub messaging patterns
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, along with automated testing frameworks
• Experience in distributed systems and performance optimization techniques
