Back End Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated Back End Developer III for a remote contract position, who will develop and maintain cloud-based applications, automate workflows, and enhance media systems for live sports and major media networks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using cloud architecture, working within Jira and Git environments
• Build efficient, scalable, secure, and observable applications based on user stories and technical designs
• Collaborate on new application designs with teammates, including front-end developers and Quality Analysts

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and building backend services for workflow orchestration platforms
• 5+ years of solid experience with Rust as a primary language, alongside Node.js, C#, or Python
• Proficiency in SQL and document database development
• Firm understanding of cloud infrastructure and capability for self-deployments in a container pipeline
• 5+ years of experience demonstrating an understanding of scalable application design principles
