Back End Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a clinical data pipeline, the full-time Back End Engineer will design, implement, and maintain data processing features while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data processing features from beginning to end
• Architect new additions to the data pipeline focusing on performance and quality
• Develop automated testing to ensure high-quality feature development without regression

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a back end engineer or similar role
• Strong programming skills and development life-cycle experience
• Familiarity with AWS tools: API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, CloudWatch
• Experience designing and building API endpoints
• Familiarity with Python and experience with JavaScript, including nodeJS system engineering
