Back End Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Back End Engineer with expertise in the Ruby stack, the full-time remote position will focus on developing and maintaining scalable applications while collaborating with the team to drive new feature development.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on app development and drive new feature initiatives using Ruby on Rails and React
• Write well-structured, lightweight code supported by testing, following a defined product development process
• Exercise autonomy in solution decisions and participate in code reviews to discuss implementation strategies

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Ruby, with expertise in Ruby on Rails
• Familiarity with AWS and a good understanding of React
• Experience in building scalable applications and intuitive interfaces
• Ability to adapt and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills in English
