Back-end Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the scaling of backend job processing systems, the full-time Back-end Software Engineer will work remotely from Ireland, influencing technical direction and contributing to code execution engines that power intelligent workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Influence the technical direction for critical systems and make impactful changes to the codebase
• Shape job and code execution processes while ensuring high-quality, well-tested code
• Identify areas for improvement in the codebase and team processes, taking ownership of solutions through to production

Required qualifications

• Typically 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience with Linux systems, container runtimes, and orchestration platforms
• Familiarity with low-level system primitives in Rust or Go
• Proficiency in debugging and isolating root causes using logs, traces, and metrics
• Ability to work across various parts of the stack, from backend to frontend
