Back-End Software Engineering Lead
Job Summary
Providing technical leadership in software architecture and backend development, the full-time Back-End Software Engineering Lead will design, develop, and evolve cloud and web applications for fuel management and IoT platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test backend-focused software elements for cloud-based and web-based applications
- Architect and evolve backend application and system designs to ensure scalability and reliability
- Lead requirements analysis and define software architecture while collaborating with front-end engineers and other stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in commercial software development with a strong focus on full stack application development
- Strong experience in Node.js and MongoDB, including schema design and query optimization
- Experience deploying applications in Kubernetes environments and building solutions on AWS
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
