Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend & Data Engineer - Risk & Trading.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement real-time data pipelines using Python, SQLX, and BigQuery
Build and operate backend micro-services for pricing, settlement, and limit management
Integrate streaming systems with caching layers to ensure data consistency under high throughput

Required Qualifications

4+ years of backend and/or data-engineering experience with Python and strong SQL skills
Proven experience designing distributed systems for high-volume, low-latency workloads
Experience with stream processing and data warehouse technologies
Comfortable or eager to learn Elixir/Erlang and functional programming stacks
Experience with CI/CD, observability tools, and incident response in real-time environments
