Backend Developer

Job Summary

Producing scalable software solutions, the full-time Backend Developer will design, develop, document, test, and debug software systems while working remotely and collaborating with a cross-functional team throughout the software development life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new software applications and components, ensuring maintainability and reusability
• Troubleshoot complex customer issues and perform advanced development and debugging tasks
• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and ensure scalability across environments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience, typically at a Senior Analyst or Analyst level
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and experience with PHP, Java, and JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with Docker containerization and EKS, along with tools like Azure DevOps and Git
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum and DevOps methodologies in software development teams
