Backend Developer

Job Summary

To enhance compliance-driven data solutions, the full-time Backend Developer will design and optimize data models, build event-driven components, and develop backend services while working remotely or in Sunnyvale, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize data models and ETL/ELT pipelines for compliance data consolidation
• Build and maintain event-driven integration components and develop robust backend services and APIs
• Implement data quality checks and enhance existing backend services to meet evolving compliance requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• 3+ years of data engineering experience, including data modeling and pipeline development
• 3+ years of professional software development experience building production backend services
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or TypeScript, along with advanced SQL skills
• Strong experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB
