Backend Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing analytics platform, the remote Backend Developer will build and scale a machine learning data live streaming system, lead greenfield projects, and design reliable backend services using Python and Rust.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale the ML data live streaming analytics platform using Python
• Lead and contribute to greenfield internal projects to optimize real-time processing needs
• Design and implement reliable backend services in Python

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of software experience in Python
• Proficiency with live data streaming and real-time analytics (Kafka/Pulsar/InfluxDB)
• Experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and services
• Experience migrating services to Rust for improved performance and reliability
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and orchestration tools
