Backend Developer

Job Summary

To build the core systems behind an AI Neobank app, the full-time remote Backend Developer will create reliable APIs, workflows, and financial product infrastructure that scale across markets and millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Build backend services and APIs for various financial operations including onboarding, payments, and KYC
• Design and maintain reliable systems to support customer transactions and operational workflows
• Integrate with internal systems and third-party platforms while ensuring backend quality across various metrics

Required qualifications

• Strong backend engineering experience in production systems
• Good understanding of APIs, databases, and integrations
• Experience building services at meaningful scale for real customers or internal operations
• Strong debugging, reliability, and data quality mindset
• Fintech or payments experience is a plus but not mandatory if fundamentals are strong
