Backend Developer
Job Summary
To support AI-driven experiences, the full-time Backend Developer will design and develop scalable backend services for Contact Center and Unified Communications products while primarily working remotely with occasional office visits in Coimbra or Aveiro.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality backend solutions aligned with company standards
- Build and evolve AI-driven backend services and APIs for Contact Center orchestration and routing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver robust product capabilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development with a focus on modern APIs and distributed services
- Strong experience with backend programming languages such as Java, C#, or Kotlin
- Solid experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design
- Understanding of AI-enabled systems and backend service integration with ML and AI components
