Backend Developer Consultant
Job Summary
To support enterprise clients, the full-time Backend Developer Consultant will design and implement Go and TypeScript services, GraphQL APIs, and Kafka-based event pipelines in a remote setting while consulting with clients to build outcome-driven applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement durable systems, including Go and TypeScript services and GraphQL APIs
- Lead modernization efforts by planning and executing large-scale migrations of services and data
- Consult with clients to guide them through the development process, identifying potential challenges and solutions
Required qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of Go and practical experience with TypeScript/Node
- Experience designing and building GraphQL APIs and Kafka-based event streaming systems
- Hands-on AWS experience, including architecting and deploying production systems
- Expertise in database schema design and development
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern delivery practices
