Backend Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Engineer, Backend Engineering (Portfolio Management) in the United States, Remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain software for processing and recording customers' retirement savings
- Improve processes and systems for robustness, performance, and reduced human intervention
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to share knowledge and build expertise
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in backend software development
- Experience building scalable backend technologies and scaling database platforms
- Completed formal training in computer science related discipline (Bachelors or Masters preferred)
- Strong desire to learn and grow, ability to write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability
