Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with founders and users to define the product and engineering roadmap
• Own and ship features from inception to implementation
• Develop and refine extensible workflow tooling for permitting and build exceptional user experiences

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in professional fullstack development, preferably in startups
• Significant experience with the tech stack including Typescript, Node.js, and Postgres
• Experience owning technically challenging cross-functional projects
• A customer-first mindset with interest in user feedback
• Habit of introspection regarding past successes
