Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available microservices and integrations
• Optimize serverless architectures and manage alerting systems to ensure infrastructure health
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system improvements and participate in on-call rotations

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in NodeJS or Python development within AWS serverless environments
• Deep knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda and RDS Aurora
• Experience with Terraform for managing infrastructure and familiarity with IaC principles
• Expertise in SQL databases, particularly MySQL, including query optimization
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
