Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, scale, and improve critical backend services supporting kiosks and business operations
• Collaborate closely with engineers, stakeholders, QA, and hardware teams
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to architecture and design decisions

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience, preferably with Ruby/Rails and Go
• Experience with Postgres or relational databases and building APIs
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to work in a small team
• Bonus: experience with microservices architecture or AI-related projects
