Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer (Python).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define and validate new features
• Design and implement REST API endpoints and microservice endpoints using Python or Java
• Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and mentor other developers on the team

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of web development experience (Python, Java, or Kotlin preferred)
• Proficiency in SQL database design and interaction
• Knowledge of RESTful API principles and conventions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Passion for building innovative, scalable solutions that have real customer impact
