Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer - Data Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and evolve a data analytics platform including backend services and OLAP data store
• Create internal tooling and services to streamline integration with the analytics platform
• Advocate for best practices in service design, data modeling, and contract testing

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with distributed datastores and backend services
• Proficient in Java; familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform is a plus
• Understanding of data modeling and analytical query patterns
• Experience building internal developer tools or shared services
• Familiarity with OLAP databases or analytics warehouses is preferred
