Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer, Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, document, and support backend application features and third-party integrations
• Implement backend functionality with a focus on performance, readability, and maintainability
• Maintain and improve application monitoring and participate in debugging and resolving production issues

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional development experience using Python and deploying backend systems with frameworks like Django or FastAPI
• Experience with containerized Python/Django services and deployment on AWS
• Strong grasp of SQL databases, CI/CD (especially CircleCI), and infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform)
• Proficiency in troubleshooting production bugs with limited QA support
• Comfortable contributing ideas and driving technical improvements autonomously
