Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer to design, implement, and maintain software systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain software for a real-time, highly concurrent distributed system
Collaborate with the development team to architect and build a high-performance back-end system

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience as a software engineer, with proficiency in Java and Node.js
Experience in implementing and operating mission-critical systems
Proficient in Linux, high-performance computing, and networking
Knowledgeable about distributed systems engineering, RESTful APIs, and Websockets
MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or another quantitative field is preferred
